My {About Me} Page

I have seriously been meaning to post an about me page for quite some time, but I have not done it yet.


One of the main reasons I have not posted it is because I do not know what my readers/followers want to know about me.  I don't want my {about me} page to be a boring autobiography, full of information that my readers don't need or care to know.


That is where you {all my wonderful readers and followers} come in!

True Life: I'm a *General* Blogger!

I am Kayla, and I am a general blogger.

I was born and raised in North Carolina.  I am an army brat, born in Womack Army Hospital, in Fort Bragg, NC.  I am a Christian.  I love God, and I owe my life to the Lord.  If not for the blessings I have received from God, I would not be here today!

I am a country girl, through and through, but I also like to get dressed up and go out on the town.  I enjoy most outdoor activities, including camping, fishing, hunting, four-wheeling, mudding, hiking, and biking.

I love to take pictures, and most of the time, you will not catch me without my camera.  In my spare time, I enjoy blogging, reading, arts and crafts, scrapbooking, and puzzles (sudoko, kakuro, crosswords, word searches, and many others).  I love exercising now, *because I used to hate it* :), and I am *actively* trying to lose weight and become healthier!

 

I love to bake and cook.  I try to make healthy recipes for food that I love, that way I can still enjoy what I am eating without sabotaging my health and weight loss efforts.  I have always loved fruits and vegetables, so I try to incorporate these into every meal!

 

I am a full-time college student.  I just finished my Associate's Degree in Elementary Education in May of 2011, and I was able to walk in July.  After finishing my classes with my Associate's Degree, I immediately started my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education.  I am excited to be at this point in my life, and I cannot wait until I will finish with my Bachelor's Degree and can start teaching on my own.

(B) Bed Size: Full

(C) Chore You Really Dislike:  Washing silverware!  Most other dishes are fine, silverware sucks!

(D) Dogs?  Sorta - ha ha!  I help take care of him while he is here!  Ug is a pit bull/masset mix! 

(E) Essential Start Your Day:  Trying to always remember that this is another day the Lord has given me to serve and worship Him on!

(F) Favorite Color:  Purple

(G) Gold or Silver? White Gold or Silver

(H) Height: 5'5.5"

(I) Instruments You Play:  I used to play the clarinet, and I know some about the piano and guitar.

(K) Kids:  My brothers six kids, 3 girls, three boys!  I don't have any of my own, yet!

(O) Overnight Hospital Stays?  When Stormi was born!

(P) Pet Peeve:  being lied to

(R) Right or Left Handed?  Right.

(S) Siblings: Two brothers - One on Earth, and One in Heaven with our Maker and Lord - I am the youngest :)

(T) Time You Wake Up?  Around 6:10 or 6:15

(U) Underwear:  I wear those!

(V) Vegetable You Dislike:  I don't know that I have a vegetable that I dislike :)

(W) What Makes You Run Late:  other people mostly :) ha ha - normally I am on time or early

(X) X-Rays:  Plenty.  Teeth, chest, back, ankle, stomach, left arm, and probably some others

(Y) Yummy Food You Make:  a lot - I love to bake and cook!
